The Scale Biter is Dragon Hunter's signature Vehicle, unlocked by the Land Trophy. It is the opponent vehicle during the Boss Pursuit in Dragon Spine. Despite being the Hunter's mode of transportation, the Scale Biter isn't willing to allow him to drive it unless it is tricked into letting its guard down. It seems fond of playing fetch.

Trivia

• The Scale Biter is the only playable vehicle that is sentient.
  • Though the Tomb Buggy is seemingly sentient, which could make this vehicle possibly the second one.
• The flames from its primary attack resemble Malefor's.
