Aftershock is a scrapped Earth Skylander.
Character Development
Aftershock was part of the original group of Skylanders designed for Skylanders: ShapeShifters, the game that would eventually become Skylanders: Swap Force. Vicarious Visions really liked Aftershock, and hated to see him not make it into the final game. The team however did end up using his tail spike for Scorp.[1]

Trivia
- Aftershock was also the prototype name for the Trap Team core Skylander, Fist Bump [2]. Coincidentally, both characters have maces for hands.
