Teleporters are shiny metal pads with an orange or blue center that teleport characters to other areas in the Skylanders series in a flash of light. Though usually they are the only means of getting around to the player's destination, sometimes they are hidden and allow access to secret areas. In Battle Arenas, they allow faster movement around the battlefield.

Though in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure and Skylanders: Giants the teleporters made a loud metallic noise when activated, they would later sound quieter and have a more subtle animation.
