Timidclopses are little one-eyed tricksters who are first seen in Crystal Eye Castle in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. They meet the Skylanders at the beginning of the level, pushing explosive barrels down the Gauntlet ramp. As their name suggests, Timidclopses are very timid and easily frightened. If chased, some may even resort to jumping over ledges (to their undoubted doom) to escape being destroyed. Others will hide behind barrels. They are not introduced in the Wii version of the game, but still make an appearance.
In Skylanders: Giants, Timidclopses are seen in Kaos' Kastle and Lost City of Arkus in a similar appearance. However, they are never acknowledged.
