Debug Minion is a debug character and can be found in the Wii U version of Skylanders Spyro's Adventure and the Wii U and Xbox 360 versions of Skylanders Giants. It's Magic Moment and stats screen show it as a coin whilst in game it uses Whirlwind's model and animations.
Appearances
Skylanders Giants

Debug Minion only appears in the Xbox 360 and Wii U versions, missing files in the Wii version. It does not have a character icon nor a ring displaying what game it is from. It does not take any damage. It's primary attack is it using a homing beam similar in appearance to Whirlwind's primary attack, dealing 100 damage to enemies and breaking anything a Skylander would be able to (including walls that can usually only be broken by Giants), however if there are no enemies nearby, the primary attack will just produce heart particle effects. It's secondary attack changes it's element (despite it not working very well) and it's tertiary allows it to teleport and go though some obstacles. When putting a hat on, the hat is made giant. It adds to the collection total number but does not appear in the collection screen itself. It has no upgrade images and uses placeholder upgrade names. All of it's voicelines are text-to-speech.
Skylanders Spyro's Adventure
Debug Minion only appears in the Japanese Wii U version of Spyro's Adventure. Nearly everything about it is completely unchanged from Giants but it's secondary attack appears to function correctly, changing the element fully without having to swap it out. It has no voicelines since the file that contains them are missing.
Skylanders Trap Team

Debug Minion appears in some Skylanders Trap Team Alpha footage with the name "Debug Core". This time it uses Whirlwind's new model from Skylanders Swap Force.
