Airships are flying ships, mostly used by Kaos for large attacks. In Swap Force Pirate Greebles attacked the Iron Jaw Gulch with an fleet of the Airships. 3 Airships, including one Warship, near the Glass Hat needed to be taken out by the Skylander. The Airships destroyed several Houses and transported many Greebles, Gear Goldems and Chompies to the areas at the Iron Jaw Gulch. In SuperChargers, Kaos Forces used Fighterships and Warships to conquer the The Cloudbreather's Crag. At one point in the Level, the Skylander crashes an Fightership into another one to progress. One Fightership drops of the Flyer Factory in an Land Vehicle Combat area. In the Sky Vehicle Zone, 4 Fighterships are attacking the front temple on the Cloudbreather Dragon and need to be taken out by the Skylander. After the Skylander took out the 4 Airships, 2 Warships come to destroy the temple. Thy shoot torpedos at the temple and the Skylanders, these need to be taken out before they can destroy the temple. Later when the Bandit Train was infiltrated by the Skylanders, Blubberbeard uses an Airship to shoot his train in an attempt to stop the Skylanders from progressing. In the Calimity Canyon, some Greeble Airships are seen assisting the Chef Zepelin.

In Imaginators, an evil Creationtron from Kaos, in one of Brains Missions at Battlefield Blitz and Operation: More War, created 4 smaller Fighterships called balloons by Flynn. They needed to be taken out by the Skylanders with an Sky Baron Robot built Drone.

Trivia

• As seen in the Cutscene of the Bandit Train, Blubberbeard has unweaponized ships, which are most likely used as storage ships, while the Fighterships are used as protection for the train.
• When they are defeated in Imaginators with glitches, it will not count towards the objective goal and the Level has to be restarted.
  • The ships also have lesser health than when defeated with the Drone.
