Toys for Bob is a video game developer based in Novato, California. It was founded in 1989 by Paul Reiche III and Fred Ford and acquired by Activision in 2005.

They are the main developers of four of the six mainline Skylanders games: Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, Skylanders: Giants, Skylanders: Trap Team, and Skylanders: Imaginators.

In January 2024, Toys for Bob had 40% of its employees fired by Microsoft as part of the 1900 layoffs at Activision Blizzard. In February, the Toys for Bob physical office closed down and the remaining staffers transitioned to work remotely.[1] On February 29th 2024, Toys for Bob left Activision and became independent. [2]
