This is the layout of the articles in the Skylanders Wikia.

Characters

This is how articles should be written about characters and objects from the Skylanders series. The name of the character or object should be in bold. Use present tence unless noted otherwise.

Introduction

A brief sentence or two that explains who the character is, or what the object is.

Personality

The personality of the character is written here. It should be written in present tense, without bias.

Abilities

This section of the article describes the powers and abilities of the character/object in the article. Abilities such as attacks and flying are placed in here, along with any other actions they can perform.

Background

A detailed history of character/object in the article. It should tell about the background of the topic, and lead up to the point of first involvement for the topic in-game. This part should be in past tense.

Story

A detailed story of what happened to the character/object during the events of the game they were involved in. This part should be divided into a section for each game. It should be written in past tense.

Relationships

This part tells you what kind of relationship the character had with others. Each character's relationship is divided into a section. For example, Spyro had a relationship section for Gill Grunt, another section for Trigger Happy, etc. It should also include major enemies, such as Kaos.

Character Development

This section tells you of the development of the character and how he came to be through designs and early concepts during the development of the game they were created for. If there are official details on the character development, this section is the place to post information in.

Gallery

A collection of images focused on the character/object. Each image should be realted to the topic, and should not be a fan made image. Each image should have a description.

Trivia

A list that tells the reader about all the miscellaneous things about the character/object. This includes cameo appearances, where the name came from, etc.

Skylanders (characters)

This is how articles for the Skylanders should be written. The name of the character or object should be in bold. Use present tence unless noted otherwise.

The relationship(s) between the Skylanders and other characters are placed here. This part tells you what kind of relationship the Skylander had with others. Each Skylander's relationship is divided into a section.

Gameplay

This section of the article describes the powers, abilities, and upgrades of the Skylander. Abilities such as attacks and the Skylander's natural abilities are placed in here, along with any other actions they can preform.

Character Trailers

Trailers of the article's Skylander are placed here.

Quotes

Quotes the article's Skylander says during media or in the games.

Gallery
