Skylanders Academy is an upcoming computer-animated television series based on the Skylanders franchise. It will serve as Activision Blizzard Studios' first animated production with Futurama writer Eric Rogers overseeing the creation of the series, which is set to debut in late 2016.[1]

Details

The television series is canon to the franchise, but is separate from the games.[2][3] TV writer, Eric Rogers, metioned the series being a mixture of "Gravity Falls" and "Futurama".[4]

10-13 episodes for Season 1 of Skylanders Academy are planned. Season 2 is mentioned.[5]
