I'm just saying, based on what I've seen from the figure design, he's some sort of bird trainer, and that's the way he fights, it's not his species. I also should note he has some facial hair if you look close enough. Some sort of droopy mustache and beard. Which probably means he's a male. - I did happen to spot a photo of his toy in packaging on the site Skylanders Character List (SCL). Here's that photo. I took into account these two facts.
