The Scale Biter is Dragon Hunter's signature Vehicle, unlocked by the Land Trophy. It is the opponent vehicle during the Boss Pursuit in Dragon Spine. It seems to enjoy playing fetch as the boss pursuit cutscene shows It playing fetch with Dragon Hunter.

• The Scale Biter is the only playable vehicle that is sentient.
  • Though the Tomb Buggy is seemingly sentient, which could make this vehicle possibly the second one.
• The flames from its primary attack resemble Malefor's.
