Krayken is a scrapped Skylander character.

Character Development

Krayken was part of the original group of characters designed for Skylanders: ShapeShifters, the game that would eventually become Skylanders: Swap Force. He possessed electrical abilities and had a sentient fish head as his left arm to trap enemies with bubbles, but during kid testing, it was discovered that the character looked unfitting on the franchise, and his bubble mechanic was too confusing as a non-damaging move.

Krayken's design was later scrapped, but his bubble abilities was implemented into the new SWAP Force leader Wash Buckler, and his design was revamped into his sucessor, Rip Tide. Although he never made it into the final game, Krayken made small cameos later in the series.
