Aftershock is a scrapped Earth Skylander.
Character Development
Aftershock was part of the original group of Skylanders designed for Skylanders: ShapeShifters, the game that would eventually become Skylanders: Swap Force. He was paired with Krayken and the unnamed Bird Skylander who would swap body parts for gameplay variety as part of the game's mechanic. Aftershock's attacks involved smashing with his mace-like hands, summoning earth fissures, and rolling into a ball like Bash. Vicarious Visions really liked Aftershock, and hated to see him not make it into the final game. The team however did end up using his tail spike for Scorp.[1]

Trivia
- Aftershock's name was used as the prototype name for the Trap Team core Skylander, Fist Bump.[2] Coincidentally, both characters have maces for hands.
