Vicarious Visions

Vicarious Visions are a video game developer founded by brothers Guha and Karthik Bala in 1990.

They are the developers of Skylanders: Swap Force, Skylanders: SuperChargers, and Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure (for the 3DS). Vicarious Visions also developed three iOS and Android Skylanders games: Skylanders: Cloud Patrol, Skylanders: Lost Islands and Skylanders: Battlegrounds, as well as ported Skylanders: Giants to the Wii U.

Vicarious Visions also developed the Thumpin' Wumpa Islands Adventure Pack as well as the gameplay for Crash Bandicoot and Dr. Neo Cortex in Skylanders: Imaginators.

Trivia

  • Vicarious Visions previously developed several Crash Bandicoot games since 2002 like The Huge Adventure, N-Tranced and Nitro Kart.
    • They are also the developers of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.
  • In the beginning of Thumpin' Wumpa Islands, there is an easter egg. In a nearby island, a rock can be seen with with two Vs engraved on it, the initials of the developer team.
