A lore tablet

Lore Tablets were collectibles found in Skylanders: Universe. They contained background information on the Skylanders and some had the equivalent of the Story Scroll collectibles from the console games. The former could be obtained by scanning or obtaining each Skylander.

Below is a list of lore tablets and their contents in the game.

Arkeyans

"The Arkeyans were an ancient civilization whose technological remnants can be seen all throughout Skylands. Many eons ago, they had protected Skylands from The Darkness, but also used their knowledge of magic and technology to build terrible weapons of war to rule Skylands with an iron fist. But like all powerful civilizations, it eventually came to an end and they mysteriously vanished."

Boomer

"Boomer was once a member of the troll army as a specialist in blowing things up -- something he loves to do. However, he left the trolls after learning their sole mission was war and conquest. Not long after, he was invited to be a Skylander the only troll ever to win such an honor. Now he uses his skills to fight evil with explosive results."

Infinite Skylands

"Throughout the history of Skylands, brave explorers have piloted airshups far and wide to see what lies beyond it's cloud-filled skies. Some were lost in the Great Black Whirl Storm while others were shipwrecked on strange and dangerous islands. But one thing has always proven true - there is seemingly no boundary or end to the world of Skylands"

Lairs

"It is often asked how one acquires their own Lair. Professor P. Grungally once theorized that it required exact planetary alignment at an exact point in time while wearing a boot made by a rare breed of trolls without feet. Later it was discovered that every Portal Master already has a Lair located on their own personal Skyland and that none of the above is actually needed."

Portal Masters

"Neither royal blood nor a sea of gold can make you a Portal Master. Either you are lucky enough to be born with the power to use a Portal or you are not. What is unknown is why the number of Portal Master rises and falls through the centuries. The most accepted theory is that they simply appear when they are needed most."

Skylanders

"Skylanders have a bond with their Portal Masters that is unbreakable. But they are not servants. They have chosen to serve their Portal Master and do so eagerly. Although skylanders come from many different realms and worlds, each knows it is their greater destiny to use their abilities to protect Skylands."

Snacks and Food

"The difference between snacks and food are subtle but significant. Snacks generally come from the Elements and their nutritional value is somewhat dependent on a Skylanders Hero Level. It is also true that snacks have never been known to result in bees shooting out from one's nose. Then again, neither has food."
