In order: 1. I know how, you need to save the picture to a USB or an SD card or something. Put it onto your PC using the device. Go onto the wiki, click one of the Recent Images on the side and press "Upload Pictures". Then select the image file. Not a 100% on that, but it should work. 2. I've noticed you've made some malicious comments and excessive blog posts to game the achievement system. This is typically frowned upon, as it makes it unfair to everyone. :(

Account Block

So what's the deal with the block? This is a community site and not just your site, yes? It seems you've blocked "account creation" for me over something about a duplicate picture somewhere? I guess you're right sorry about thw whole blocking thing but still please don't duplicate photos or make similar ones we already have a Ghost Roaster photo that looked exactly like yours and you can't add duplicate photos and again sorry just don't do it again ok. GhostMaple is right in that wikis are community owned project. If someone makes a mistake - it's ok! Have fun and don't be afraid to try new things! With that being said, let's have trust in our community and not protect pages that may be misused. Wait for something to happen first, otherwise you are discouraging users from editing the wiki. Additionally, make sure you know who's who when pointing fingers. I'm know not who uploaded the duplicate Ghost Roaster photo that was at the root of this, but I have not uploaded a single picture to this site. If the bad placeholder link that appeared on my profile is the one you speak of, checking the edit logs will show that you yourself made the change. (And left my page in an incomplete state, at that.) I'll remove the bad code myself eventually. There's more imprtant things to do around here. GhostMaple 19:20, December 9, 2011 (UTC)

Copy and Pasting

Hello, this is Aura24, one of the active admins of the Spyro Wiki. I have noticed that you and the other admins have been copying and pasting our hard work from our wiki into your slowly-growing wiki instead of writing the content in your own words. It's a bit offensive that you are stealing content from our wiki, especially of edits made by those who worked hard on them. You mean you guys just copy our page's contents because our wiki has more accurate info about Skylanders, instead of rewording it in your own words and use prior knowledge of Skylanders that you possibly played? -- Aura24 06:04, December 12, 2011 (UTC)

I don't get skylanders till christmas which is why I just get pics and everyone else does have the game but I guess they have a hard time saying it in their own words plus just playing the game doesn't give you the biography or power stats that's why the other admins need to copy your info. That is true, the biographies and power stats of the Skylanders are revealed outside of the game, but the added content of our prior knowledge of the game we added to the abilities and personalities section of each Skylander, as well as some of the other pages related to Skylanders, were copied and pasted from our wiki to here. -- 06:15, December 12, 2011 (UTC)

Leland, you're not helping any. Regardless of what you are doing, this wiki has for some time been just scraping certain content from other sites with very little editing. In a few cases, an editor has wiped out existing material to then copy/paste from another site, usually the Spyro wiki, but sometimes elsewhere. Ideally, there would be cooperation between the two wikis, with users making edits to benefit both sites (and/or cross-links), or even a widespread push to move all efforts to one site or the other. Due to the recent complaints I've removed all temporary admins until we can get this wiki back on track. This wiki needs to work together in order to become something great. I'm willing to help out and teach you anything you want to know about running a wiki or anything you're confused about. Please don't hesitate to ask questions! GhostMaple is absolutely right in that it would benefit everyone if the two wikis worked together. Aura, I'm sorry if pages were copied from the Spyro wiki. It does sound sensible if the wikis were to cooperate. We'd accomplish much more if we pooled resources to add info, not waste effort by both wikis doing the same thing seperately. Because when it comes down to it, what's the point in having 2 wikis with eactly the same information? ThierryTNG 09:54, December 13, 2011 (UTC)

Skylanders Category

If you want to add pages to a category, you have to add the category code on the page itself. The page will then get listed in the category automatically. There's no need to also add links to the category page itself. ThierryTNG 08:35, December 20, 2011 (UTC)

Delete Tag
