Hey there, you were right about Charles Adler voicing Chain Reaction because it says so on IMDB.
*IMDb is not reliable, and HauntedLorene never claimed Adler voiced Chain Reaction. TechSkylander1518 (talk) 02:23, December 7, 2016 (UTC)

Kaos' Species
Knight Mare Glitch
Isn't Kaos a human, because what I know Aurora is a human meaning Eon is a human. So isn't Kaos a humsn too. Making his clone a human clone, right? Trailblazer101 (talk) 21:56, January 7, 2017 (UTC)
:Kaos isn't related to Eon or Aurora, therefore his species cannot be assumed from them. TechSkylander1518 (talk) 22:21, January 7, 2017 (UTC)
:He also has key differences from their mostly normal appearance like the sharp front teeth and the red eyes. Unlike Eon, he was never stated to be human, and unless someone finds such a source, we can't state him to be one. Aurora is also unconfirmed as we don't know her parents. That glitch does work (at least in the Wii version), I have literally tested it on every glitch gate in the game and it works.
Companions
*Then add a source or specify. The way it is written is incredibly misleading, on X360 she bounces off even in the Dark gates until they're fully open, so who knows other consoles. No one recorded videos with her doing it on Youtube either, which would be helpful for people trying to test it out. (also there were a few other edits you undid on Knight Mare that were related to other things but it's nothing major, just watch out if you use undo)

Helloooooooo? It's a Dark Gate, of course she'll bounce back! In the Midnight Museum level, bring her to the Magic Gate and perform her secondary attack. You'll see I'm not lying. Also, not every glitch on this wiki has a source to back it up y'know.
I tracked the misuse of Companions back to a single user months ago, but haven't acted upon it until now, because pretty much every single time I adjust categories, he just changes it back. To be honest, he's the main reason I'm hesitant to even touch categories at all anymore.
*I meant even them. The gates said to be glitched in DS are the Dark gate in Know-it-All Island, doesn't work; Magic gate in Chompy Mountain, doesn't work; Light gate in Future of Skylands; doesn't work. I don't have Midnight Museum to test that one and I didn't have time to test the Magic gate in Nightmare Express, but again, it doesn't work on one console - it's better than to put a source or explain it nicely where it worked than to mislead someone into using her where it doesn't.

Like I said, it could just be for the Wii version. Still, if you don't wanna believe me then that's your problem.
In the talk page linked above, I mentioned a couple of articles that I believe have incorrect usage, but I'm not 100% sure about them all, so you may want to double check them. - Princess Nightmoon (talk) 01:26, April 8, 2017 (UTC)
*If it is just the Wii version, edit as such. I didn't say I don't believe you, I said writing 'it works with Knight Mare' is misleading as hell. I was planning on getting her anyway but if someone bought her just for the glitches on a different it'd be one messy talk page to login to. Not too hard to add another paragraph(not trivia since it's still the glitch itself) and say it works on X gate on Y level with Z method on K console.
*After the voice actor edit wars, he's already in hot water if he starts trying to add these again. I edited the category very clearly so it's specifically about LI Companions, and if he starts that up again it's a block right away as he ignored your warning as a moderator. HauntedLorene (talk) 12:16, April 8, 2017 (UTC)

:*So it's better to at least disclose it wasn't tested fully by the fans. It's not a big deal if people are discussing it on a forum or whatever, but a wiki has no point if it's not accurate. And yeah, it's silly to buy skylanders just for the exploit, but people actually do it and are actually willing to complain if they don't get what they want - better to at least avoid an argument.Since no one did anything, I'll go and edit the articles myself to reflect this, now I have the time.
Help Editing a Template?
::Dunno what versions the glitch works with Knight Mare. I don't have the time for it either as I just opened them legit. It shouldn't be this big of a deal as it's an exploit. If you don't plan on getting the Skylanders it's kinda a moot point on getting the Soul Gems if it's someone that is going for 100% anyways.WickedRogue (talk) 02:05, July 22, 2015 (UTC)

Power Blue Figures
Hello! I've been creating all of the pages for the Heroic Challenges since a few days back. I've noticed that in the Heroic Challenges navigation template that "Fight, Teleport, Fight!" had been incorrectly named "Fight, Teleport, Fight Some More!" I'm unaware if the HC is actually named this way on different consoles (I play Spyro's Adventure and Giants on the Wii and all other games up to SuperChargers on WiiU), so if it is, please don't bother changing it. I would correct the mistake myself, but I don't have the privileges to do so. Could you help me out and correct it for me? --GizmoTheDragon (talk) 20:31, July 1, 2017 (UTC)
Have you seen this video on YouTube? - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOi-u_WDShk%7C
*It might be a change from those versions to the other consoles, not sure since I don't have Prism Break. However, I made that page redirect to the name you mentioned, it should work right now even if it's not the "correct" mission name in the template. HauntedLorene (talk) 20:47, July 1, 2017 (UTC)
**Thanks a bunch! It may not be a direct fix, but it'll do for now. By the way, "Fight, Teleport, Fight!" is unlocked by Lightning Rod in Spyro's Adventure, not Prism Break, haha! GizmoTheDragon (talk) 20:59, July 1, 2017 (UTC)
Fandom Wiki
It's been confirmed that the following Power Blue figures are real:
What do you mean by "not a fandom wiki?" If you look in the top left corner of your screen it should say FANDOM POWERED BY WIKIA, all I wanted to do was add a page that gave people information on a topic that myself and many others online would like quick access to. I wanted to make a page that could get people involved with coming up with fun challenges to change the way you play, and sharing them with the rest of the people on this wiki. BilboSwaggins17 (talk) 18:27, July 27, 2017 (UTC)
*I'm really sorry for the rushed reason, I didn't remember it can't be edited. FANDOM is the name of the wikia community, I meant Fandom Wiki as in wikis specifically for content created by fans, like this one. The issue with adding fan content to this wiki that isn't for the purposes of replacing gaps left by official content(such as enemy names) is that it can be easily mistaken for official information, and with the way your article was written, it seems like it would be more useful in the Fan Wiki instead as its primary purpose is unofficial content. So sorry for the confusion once again, but if you'd like to add this page to this wiki only, I would speak with Aura24 instead on ways to explicitly show it's for the purposes of the fandom. Power Blue Gold Rusher<br />
Hey, it's me again. I've had this thought for a while: Wouldn't it be worth the effort to document every way each Skylander can deal damage, how much damage those ways deal in each game, considering all possible combinations of upgrades, maybe even recording each Skylander's highest DPS (damage-per-second) for each game? At first, this seemed reasonable; in SA/Giants, damage is consistent between games. However, when Swap-Force rolled along, I noticed that damage dealt was a bit different, not to mention that stats were also handled differently. This is true even for the games after this. I don't play Imaginators, but I've heard that the usual stats have been replaced with something completely different?

--NightShadow-720 (talk) 16:27, February 12, 2016 (UTC)
This makes such a task of recording all of the things previously mentioned much more tedious, but wouldn't it be worth it? With all of that information recorded, we could answer questions like "What's the highest damage-dealing Skylander for flinging projectiles over walls or onto tall platforms: Flameslinger, Whirlwind, Boomer?"
*Why should this concern me? I'm not an admin to edit in those pages, I visit DarkSpyro forums and those figures were found yesterday by someone there already.HauntedLorene (talk) 18:25, February 12, 2016 (UTC)
I already put it up on my blog http://skylanders.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:Cutiesaurs/Skylanders_support_for_autism.(Kill me (talk) 18:28, February 12, 2016 (UTC))
*I'll say it again, this doesn't have any reason to concern me. I already saw this on DarkSpyro, spamming it on talk pages isn't going to make me read things again.

Spyro/Ninjini Relationship non-canon proof link
Recording such information would probably require a new template, which would initially display damage amounts for attacks without any upgrades, as well as a the highest possible DPS and what the attacks deal if it results in a critical hit, and all of these can be viewed in the terms of what game is being played, which can be toggled by the reader. For each upgrade that the reader toggles on, all of the above values change to account for it. Something like that. I'm no good with making templates, but I know that one like this would need to be heavily versatile. For example, Swap-Force characters would probably need separate templates for the top and bottom halves, since recording both together would probably lead to issues.

Can you please give me the link to the writer of the books who confirmed that none of the books he wrote (including the one with Spyro and Ninjini's Relationship) are considered canon? Black Rhino Ranger (Or BRR for short) (talk) 17:55, February 29, 2016 (UTC)
Sorry for the very long and probably confusing/overwhelming message, but I just wanted to hear an opinion for the moderators/admins before considering to even begin something like this. Thank you for your time. --GizmoTheDragon (talk) 13:38, September 21, 2017 (UTC)
*Unfortunately I can't remember the page where the user Conquertronina was verified to be the real writer for Skylanders Penguin Young Readers books, but here's the one where she mentions they're not meant to be canon: http://forum.darkspyro.net/spyro/viewposts.php?topic=68460&page=12 post #582, I forgot how to link to specific comments. *While I definately get your enthusiasm, not sure how worth it would be unless it's something you're 100% invested in. Most people only care about the general damage numbers in a character and how their DPS fares, not exact numbers - and the games unfortunately justify the feeling with all the power creep and these numbers changing every game for no reason; it just kills its own metagame. It's up to you really, though I'd just put an extra section in Gameplay rather than its own heading. OneOfWiisdom on youtube also does these character analyses if you want a head start, though he only has them for the new characters on each game. == Battlecast template ==

I added the Battlecast template to the Abilitiesbox. -- Aura24 (talk) 18:16, April 19, 2016 (UTC)
*Thanks! Don't mind me using the wrong card pictures while I'm seeing how it works, was checking if the pictures would stretch or something because they're pretty big. Did you ask for permission to Lamoracke from DarkSpyro for the cards he has saved already? HauntedLorene (talk) 21:48, April 19, 2016 (UTC)
::He doesn't exactly own the card images or anything. This is a community effort to add details and images of the cards into the articles. -- Aura24 (talk) 21:52, April 19, 2016 (UTC)
::::Well, he did go all the way to get these no matter how hard to roll(like the Villain cards) before the full launch, but you have a point. I'll just tell him we're using it and thank him for the effort, he deserves at least that. Also, how to remove the Battlecast tab for Skylanders not in that game, or add just that tab to Villains? HauntedLorene (talk) 21:55, April 19, 2016 (UTC)
:::::Hm, I have no clue how. But you can leave the tabs be until I add replacement text. Also be sure to shrink the images down to about 206px. -- Aura24 (talk) 21:59, April 19, 2016 (UTC)

:::::::If all else fails, for villains and the elements I could always use the gallery. Dunno about pictures so small though, the original size is around 600x900px - 250x350 still keeps a visible picture, it's hard to distingish any smaller than that. Updated Ampli-flier on Spyro's page as an example.

:::::::Found a mistake in it,too. The sixth and third cards have the same name so they display the same picture. The size I set the pictures to,however, keeps them in rows of 3 really nicely.HauntedLorene (talk) 17:03, April 21, 2016 (UTC)

Enemies
Excuse me, Haunted Lorene, but what footage did you see of the Splatterpillars? Please let me know. PortalMasterLight (talk) 14:34, June 24, 2016 (UTC)
*I probably missed it if any footage actually had the full cutscene saying their names, but I put two and two together when "Splatterpillar" was mentioned in a few articles about the mushroom level and it showed up here though it gets dispatched easily. It also appears for a few seconds in some of the Ember gameplay from a few channels but it's far in between. It's also why I didn't take a screenshot yet, since this video isn't direct feed and the others the enemy is too hard to see.HauntedLorene (talk) 16:39, June 24, 2016 (UTC)

Templates
<span style="font-weight:normal;">Over at DS, you mentioned a need for templates here. If you have any specifc ones in mind, let me know, and I'll see what I can do. The need for new templates for Imaginator powers was pretty obvious, since they don't fit with the existing character template. I guess one for Vehicle upgrades/mods may be wanted?</span>

I might make separate versions of the different sections of Abilitiesbox (Console/Wow-Pow/Battlecast/3DS, and also make a new one specifically for the SuperChargers' level-based stat boosts in SC: Racing), so that redundant tabs can be excluded. For instance, Thrillipede currenty only has useful info in a single tab.

Obviously, this won't override the existing template, so in order to make the changes, someone would have to go out and edit the pages. I can do this myself for all unlocked pages, and let you know which locked pages may benefit from the revised system. And in the process of updating, I'll see which missing power images I can contribute with.

<span style="font-weight:normal;">P.S.: Sorry, didn't know you had started posting the Battle Class template already. I just separated Secret Techniques from the rest, thinking it wouldn't have been utilized yet, which probably removed parts of what you posted (and resulted in some junk code for the Secret Techniques variables). Again, sorry o.o;</span>

<span style="font-weight:normal;">Princess Nightmoon (talk) 17:07, July 21, 2016 (UTC)</span>
*<span style="font-weight:normal;">The only template that's really necessary right now is a generic Battlecast one for element and villain spells since the Skylander one can't be separated, everything else probably can be created on the spot by anyone who knows the code. You're better off speaking with Aura about this, because I don't know one bit D: And about the Secret Tecniques, yeah, had them on Battle Classes already, and I did post on your blog that I was going to. Please be a bit more careful next time since there are times with no admin on to fix these.HauntedLorene (talk) 18:22, July1 21, 2016 (UTC)</span>
:: <span style="font-weight:normal;"></span><span style="font-weight:normal;">(Heh, I may be a little bit too used to having admin powers myself...) I had mentioned on the template pages that they aren't quite finished, but since they're in use now, I won't make any more drastic changes like that.</span>

:: <span style="font-weight:normal;">At the time I made the template, I didn't know there was a different page for Secret Techniques, so when you mentioned that, I wanted to make it possible to get those separately. Since, like the original abilitiesbox template, the coding used doesn't allow for splitting up, due to the formatting.</span>

:: <span style="font-weight:normal;"></span><span style="font-weight:normal;">But yeah, I'll talk to Aura about it next time I'm on. Princess Nightmoon (talk) 19:53, July 21, 2016 (UTC)</span>

Secret Techniques
Since we now know that each Battle Class only receives 1 Technique from Senseis, 1 from the Class' Doomlander, and the rest from leveling, is there even a point to keeping the page, considering they're already covered in greater detail over at the Battle Classes page?
*I think there's no point, but it's better to change it to a redirect than just delete the page. Noticed some people are really confused over what they do so pointing them in the right direction is the better thing to do.HauntedLorene (talk) 19:12, August 17, 2016 (UTC)

SuperChargers Secret Achievements/Trophies
Wasn't sure what to do about the Secret Achievements/Trophies in SuperChargers, so I didn't add the SuperChargers list to the page yet. Should we just include everything anyway, or should I set up a show/hide toggle for them? - Princess Nightmoon (talk) 17:29, August 21, 2016 (UTC)
*It's long past the spoiler period so I don't think it matters for SuperChargers, so just having them all visible is fine, but once the Imaginators list comes out we'll need to have a toggle for them for sure. Same reason why Cradle of Creation and The Lair of Kaos (Imaginators) are not on the Levelnav yet; too big of a spoiler for pre-release and people will run into that in other pages. == Question About Editing: Source vs. Visual ==

G'day Haunted Lorene! Clok-Roo reporting.

I got the point you were trying to make about editing pages, but you may have to explain it to me in more detail.

Thing is, I'm accustomed to editing in Visual mode. Is there really any big difference?

The Primordial Clok-Roo (talk) 13:45, September 21, 2016 (UTC)
*Source mode is essential for further edits of some parts of the pages(tabbers, templates, special code), and Visual tends to screw up a lot of those if you edit directly into it; most commonly putting it all together and just being confusing to read. Visual is best to quickly edit text and create headings or galleries, which appear as normal in source. Not an expert on this unfortunately, but it's most obvious when trying to copy text from elsewhere; visual just screws it all up with weird font coding but source actually keeps it in place. G'day HauntedLorene! Clok-Roo again!

I've got some trivia I want to add to the Imaginators page, but because:
#I'm not allowed to edit the page.
#I can't seem to reach the 'Talk' section.
I thought I might tell you directly and you could add it for me.

The trivia I have is this:
*There are more possibilities for Imaginators than there are known stars in the universe.
And here is the link that proves it. Go to the time at 2:20. (Best if you watch the whole thing, though)

*That one from the Cartoon Network ad is veeery buzzword-y,and while true, doesn't really amount to much. If someone actually did really approximate math by multiplying every part amount and every size, then it'd be interesting trivia. HauntedLorene (talk) 08:41, September 22, 2016 (UTC)

Archives, do not post:

Hey there, you were right about Charles Adler voicing Chain Reaction because it says so on IMDB.

  • IMDb is not reliable, and HauntedLorene never claimed Adler voiced Chain Reaction. TechSkylander1518 (talk) 02:23, December 7, 2016 (UTC)

Kaos' Species

Isn't Kaos a human, because what I know Aurora is a human meaning Eon is a human. So isn't Kaos a humsn too. Making his clone a human clone, right? Trailblazer101 (talk) 21:56, January 7, 2017 (UTC)

Kaos isn't related to Eon or Aurora, therefore his species cannot be assumed from them. TechSkylander1518 (talk) 22:21, January 7, 2017 (UTC)
He also has key differences from their mostly normal appearance like the sharp front teeth and the red eyes. Unlike Eon, he was never stated to be human, and unless someone finds such a source, we can't state him to be one. Aurora is also unconfirmed as we don't know her parents. Companions

I tracked the misuse of Companions back to a single user months ago, but haven't acted upon it until now, because pretty much every single time I adjust categories, he just changes it back. To be honest, he's the main reason I'm hesitant to even touch categories at all anymore.

In the talk page linked above, I mentioned a couple of articles that I believe have incorrect usage, but I'm not 100% sure about them all, so you may want to double check them. - Princess Nightmoon (talk) 01:26, April 8, 2017 (UTC)

  • After the voice actor edit wars, he's already in hot water if he starts trying to add these again. I edited the category very clearly so it's specifically about LI Companions, and if he starts that up again it's a block right away as he ignored your warning as a moderator. HauntedLorene (talk) 12:16, April 8, 2017 (UTC)

Help Editing a Template?

  • It might be a change from those versions to the other consoles, not sure since I don't have Prism Break. However, I made that page redirect to the name you mentioned, it should work right now even if it's not the "correct" mission name in the template. HauntedLorene (talk) 20:47, July 1, 2017 (UTC)
    • Thanks a bunch!

Fandom Wiki

What do you mean by "not a fandom wiki?" If you look in the top left corner of your screen it should say FANDOM POWERED BY WIKIA, all I wanted to do was add a page that gave people information on a topic that myself and many others online would like quick access to. I wanted to make a page that could get people involved with coming up with fun challenges to change the way you play, and sharing them with the rest of the people on this wiki. BilboSwaggins17 (talk) 18:27, July 27, 2017 (UTC)

  • I'm really sorry for the rushed reason, I didn't remember it can't be edited. An Extremely Large But Possibly Valuable Data-Collecting Conquest

This makes such a task of recording all of the things previously mentioned much more tedious, but wouldn't it be worth it? With all of that information recorded, we could answer questions like "What's the highest damage-dealing Skylander for flinging projectiles over walls or onto tall platforms: Flameslinger, Whirlwind, Boomer?"

Sorry for the very long and probably confusing/overwhelming message, but I just wanted to hear an opinion for the moderators/admins before considering to even begin something like this. Thank you for your time. --GizmoTheDragon (talk) 13:38, September 21, 2017 (UTC)

  • While I definately get your enthusiasm, not sure how worth it would be unless it's something you're 100% invested in. HauntedLorene (talk) 14:24, September 21, 2017 (UTC)
