Sun Dragon[1] is a scrapped character and the original design of Camo. He only appeared briefly in the Skylanders: The Beginning trailer, taking part in the battle against Kaos' army.

Character Development

Sun Dragon was one of the earliest Skylanders designed, present during the initial pitch of a Toy-themed Spyro game as a playable dragon, and as a Life Skylander during the Spyro's Kingdom phase.[2] At this point, Sun Dragon had a more menacing design with a larger head. Despite being present in early trailers, the Sun Dragon design was eventually replaced with Camo's current design seemingly late in development.[1] The two have an identical moveset.[3]
