Chapter Subtitle

Creepy Citadel is the seventeenth chapter in the console version of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. It is the location within the Underworld where the Skylanders go to retrieve the Eternal Undead Source.

Description

Creepy Citadel is an Undead castle built upon a dark swamp. Unlike the previous two Undead levels, this one possesses a gray sky filled with mist. Many unsettling sounds haunt Creepy Citadel, including wolf howls, crow caws, witch cackling, and tolling bells.

Story

The Skylanders arrive at the citadel's gate with T-Bone, who explains where to locate the Eternal Undead Source before using the Skeleton Key (with his head still attached) to open the gate and allow passage. Entering through the main gate after clearing a Lock Puzzle, the Skylanders fight through the citadel, battling through an army of spiders, skeletons, and suits of living armor, while also avoiding axe traps and maneuvering through blocks and Box Goblins before reaching the gateway to the Eternal Source.

Entering through the gateway, the Skylanders are transported to a large arena where they are met with the familiar giant hologram of Kaos. Kaos attacks the Skylanders by sending out three more of his minions (the Evil Imp Minion, the Evil Knight Minion, and the Evil Witch Minion) and using the Eternal Undead Source's power to cast spells that conjure deadly lasers. The Skylanders survive the Undead spells and defeat all three Undead minions at once, and Kaos once again retreats and vanishes, allowing the Skylanders to claim yet another Eternal Source.
