Troll Super Tank

From Skylanders Wiki
Troll Super Tank
Species: Troll Tank
Role: Boss
World: Battlefield
Attacks: Fire explosive shells
Run over with treads
Appears in: Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure (Console)

The Troll Super Tank is a tank in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure invented by the Trolls using the Eternal Tech Source. It is an unusually large tank complete with a carbine on the front and back, a turret, and two Troll Grenadiers ride on top. At Battlefield, the Skylanders locate the tank and eventually destroy it, reclaiming the Tech Source.

Boss Battle

There is a wall complete with turrets guarding the Troll Super Tank. All the player needs to do is roll the Mega Bomb down the hill to hit the wall; however, as soon as the Skylander blows up the wall, the Troll Super Tank is operational. To defeat the tank, the Skylander must get on high ground, and use the bombs provided. Alternatively, the player can damage the tank's weak point, the fuel storage, using their Skylander's attacks.

Trivia

  • The Troll Super Tank was originally going to be a transforming giant spider tank, but was reduced to a large tank due to time constraints.[2]
  • The Troll Super Tank is much larger in the PlayStation 3 / Xbox 360 version of Spyro's Adventure compared to the Wii and Wii U version.
    • Additionally, in the PlayStation 3 / Xbox 360 version, the hitbox for the tank's turret fire is incredibly small, making it difficult to actually take damage from it.
