Nauteloids are small cephalopods which appear in the console version of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure aswell as the 3DS version of Skylanders: Giants, they are usually pink and have snail-like shells on their backs, and saw-like noses which they use to attack when they charge straight forward. They sometimes appear under overturned boats and pop out to attack.

- The Nauteloids are named after the real life prehistoric sea creature. However unlike their real life counterparts, they have somewhat more crustacean/amphibian-like features.
