Moon Widows are sticky arachnid enemies in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, first met in Crawling Catacombs. These spiders quickly dart across a Skylanders' path, leaving behind a sticky web which is thin and strong as steel. Walking onto one of these webs will entangle a Skylander, but shaking the controller as per the onscreen instruction will free them from the web.

Trivia

• Skylanders trapped by a Moon Widow's web temporarily turn blue as if frozen, which may be an effect held over from the freezing effect of Water Spell Punks.
• In the Wii version of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, the spider that chases T-Bone is a Moon Widow.
• The door to the Trial of Courage: Spiders in The Oracle features an icon of the Moon Widow, despite them not appearing in the level or anywhere in Skylanders: Giants.
• There are Spider enemies that appear in the 3DS version of Spyro’s Adventure and Giants (in Galecrack Ruins and Darklight Crypt) which resemble Moon Widows, except their colors are swapped and they bite instead of creating sticky webs.
