- “Infiltrate the Trolls' warehouse and find the Golden Gear.”
- – Chapter Subtitle
Troll Warehouse is the twelfth chapter in the console version of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. It is here where the Skylanders search for the Golden Gear, which is located behind a minefield and dozens of Trolls.
Description
Troll Warehouse is a technological Troll fortress filled with gears, metal, pipes, and puzzles. The level contains notable hazards such as a minefield and a swath of lava accessible only to Fire Skylanders. As most of the level takes place indoors, Troll Warehouse's bright orange and gray sky can rarely be seen by the player.
Story
The Skylanders meets up with Snuckles, a Mabu villager rescued from Shattered Island who then decided to become a special agent for the Mabu Defense Force, currently on his first mission. Snuckles leads the Skylanders to the elevator into the Trolls' warehouse in order to search for the Golden Gear. After battling through some Trolls and solving a few Lock Puzzles, the group discovers where the Trolls are holding the gear. However, the gear is protected by a large minefield, and the Skylanders are forced to search for a map so that they can safely navigate through the landmines.
The Skylanders continue to fight more Troll soldiers, Rocket Imps, and rapid-fire Troll mechs called Gun Snouts. Eventually, the Skylanders locate the four separated pieces of the map and are now able to maneuver through the mines, finally reaching the Golden Gear. The gear is attached to a rocket, and the Skylanders and Snuckles pilot it to return the gear to the Ruins.
