A Winged Sapphire

Winged Sapphires are a special kind of gem in the console versions of the Skylanders series. They are depicted as blue gems with butterfly wings you find scattered around. Winged Sapphires can be found in all of the console games prior to Skylanders: Imaginators. For each Winged Sapphire, Persephone or Tuk gives you a 2% off discount on her/his prices of your Skylanders' upgrades or accessories.

There are a total of ten Winged Sapphires in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, twenty in Skylanders: Giants, eighteen in Skylanders: Swap Force, twenty-two in Skylanders: Trap Team, and ten in Skylanders: Superchargers. Unlike in Spyro's Adventure, Winged Sapphires can be found in each of the 16 chapters in Giants, as well as on the Dread-Yacht. In following games, they can be found only in chapters or places that grant random collectibles. They can't be found in Adventure Packs chapters in Spyro's Adventure and Giants.

In Skylanders: Battlecast, it is a relic known as the Crystal of Clarity, reducing the crystal cost of spells instead.

Locations

Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure

1. Next to Persephone after clearing Stormy Stronghold.
2. Behind the gate on the beach after clearing Leviathan Lagoon.
3. Inside a secret area that is opened after using the oil can on the red and gray robot on the beach.
4. On an island reached using Bounce Pads that can be accessed by either a flying Skylander or a Skylander of the Water element.
5. Hidden underneath the rock next to Hugo and Arbo after clearing Treetop Terrace.
6. Behind the gate to the train tracks after clearing Creepy Citadel.
7. Behind a sealed opening covered by rocks near the train that can be destroyed with a bomb.
8. Inside the geyser near the train after throwing a bomb into it.
9. Inside the train after using the oil can on it.
10. Behind the door with the Lockmaster Imp on the docks after clearing Arkeyan Armory.

Skylanders: Giants

1. In Time of the Giants: Use a Giant to destroy the gate at the beginning of Forgotten Path and access the Winged Sapphire.
2. In Junkyard Isles: Next to Persephone at The Last Stand as part of her explanation about Winged Sapphires.
3. In Dread-Yacht: On the Deck after Chapter 2.
4. In Rumbletown: Inside the Life Elemental Gate. After beating the enemy Ambush, go to the nearby push block maze and the Winged Sapphire is found behind the lock puzzle at the end.
5. In Cutthroat Carnival: On Loading Dock 3 behind a block that can be bypassed by dropping down from the island's wheel platform.
6. In Glacier Gully: Drop off the southeast ledge in Chilled Bowl's first crater.
7. In Dread-Yacht: On the Crow's Nest after Chapter 5.
8. In Secret Vault of Secrets: Inside the Tech Elemental Gate.
9. In Wilikin Village: Southeast of the Isle of Wilkin, enter Wilikin World to create a bridge to the island containing the Winged Sapphire.
10. In Troll Home Security: Inside the Coal Stack at the beginning of the level.
11. In Kaos' Kastle: Inside the Tech Elemental Gate
12. In Aerial Attack: Loop around the tower upon arrival on the Spectral Dreadnaught.
13. In Drill-X's Big Rig: Drop off the south side of Utility Deck at the beginning of the level.
14. In Molekin Mountain: Inside the first Tech Elemental Gate.
15. In The Oracle: At the West side of the Spider Trial.
16. In Dread-Yacht: Win a match of Skystones against Dreadbeard in the Game Room after Chapter 13.
17. In Autogyro Adventure: Located at The Machine area near the end of the level. Found inside a push block puzzle maze.
18. In Dread-Yacht: In the Crane Deck after Chapter 14.
19. In Lost City of Arkus: Inside the Fire Elemental Gate.
20. In Bringing Order to Kaos!: Inside the Bomb Hole located at the beginning in the level.

Skyanders: Swap Force

1. Defeat 50 bombers in the Air elemental gate in Mount Cloudbreak.
2. Inside Earth/Tech elemental gate in Cascade Glade.
3. In Wood Burrow, given as a reward for helping set up Tuk's Emporium.
4. Inside the Water/Undead elemental gate in Mudwater Hollow.
5. Inside the Water elemental gate in Rampant Ruins.
6. Complete the Dig Swap Zone in Iron Jaw Gulch.
7. Complete the Speed Swap Zone in Motleyville.
8. Complete the Spin Swap Zone in Twisty Tunnels.
9. Inside the Earth Elemental Gate in Boney Islands.
10. Inside the Undead Elemental Gate in Winter Keep.
11. Defeat 50 balloons in the Magic elemental gate in Frostfest Mountains.
12. Inside the Undead elemental gate in Fantasm Forest.
13. Inside the Earth elemental gate in Kaos' Fortress.
14. Complete the Dig Swap Zone in Tower of Time.
15. Complete the Spin Swap Zone in Tower of Time.

Skylanders: Trap Team

1. Inside Hidden Flavor Grotto in Soda Springs. In a cave located behind a plateau just after where Sheep Creep is found.
2. At Boulder Falls Circle in Know-It-All Island. Located on a cliff opposite side of the area where the Dark Elemental Gate is found.
3. On a ledge at the very beginning of Chompy Mountain.
4. At Little Chicken Landing in The Phoenix Psanctuary. Inside the Traptanium mound accessible by the first vacuum hole.
5. In the Garbage Disposal in Chef Zeppelin. Found in a path to the right of the Skystones playing Sous Chefs.
6. In the Cheddar House in Rainfish Riviera. Located near Chef Pepperjack's Villain Quest.
7. Inside the Traptanium mound at the very beginning of Monster Marsh.
8. In the Meditation Pool in Telescope Towers. Below the area with the Magic and Tech Elemental Gates.
9. At Nature Bridges - North in Mystic Mill. Behind a wood barricade requiring Evolved Shrednaught to destroy.
10. In Spoiled Sanctum in Secret Sewers of Supreme Stink. At the end of foldable bridges near where Rage Mage's first cutscene takes place.
11. In The Old Mill in Wilikin Workshop. Next to the building with Dreamcatcher's villain quest and concealed by destructible crates.
12. At Main Spring Fly in Time Town. Inside a room below the rotating gear platform.
13. At Sub Atomic Particle Smasher in The Future of Skylands. Found on a platform accessible by push blocks.
14. In Southwest Tower in Operation: Troll Rocket Steal. Accessible after destroying the first gate with a bomb.
15. In Lost and Found in Skyhighlands. Found behind the Traptanium mound in the room by the last turret challenge
16. In The Temple of Topaz in The Golden Desert. On the right side of the central platform after getting past the second Chompy Worm.
17. In The Secret Vault in Lair of the Golden Queen. Behind a locked gate next to the falling platforms.
18. In Matter Refactoring Room in The Ultimate Weapon. On a cliff near the bound pad.
19. Inside The Prime Tower in Midnight Museum. Found on a side path past the spyclopters.
20. At the Under-Island Maintenance Area in Sunscraper Spire. In an opening next to the pit under the second light bridge.
21. At Cliffside Sanctuary in Nightmare Express. Found on a ledge below the Magic Elemental Gate.
22. In Troll Village in Mirror of Mystery. On the roof of the northeast building.

Skylanders: Superchargers

In Skylanders: SuperChargers, Winged Sapphires are not in any specific locations. They can randomly be found in the Academy Store, the Wishing Well, or Epic Chests scattered throughout the story.
