Trivia
- The barrier to Chompy Mage's Villain Quest can be destroyed using a regular bomb, allowing players to access the area beyond without completing his quest.
- The flattenable Chompies in this area only appear while Cookie is talking, and if Chompy Mage opens the gate. Entering the area without completing Chompy Mage's quest results in none of the Chompies appearing.
- Chompy Mage's quest is also notable for including its own special cutscene, something that other villain quests lack.
- Flynn gets injured during this level's initial Turret sequence, making Chef Zeppelin one of the only Skylanders levels in which an NPC is canonically wounded.
- The smokestack at the edge of Bomb Shell's arena is intended to spew out Grinnades; however, Grinnades often get trapped in the chimney and die prematurely.
- Chef Zeppelin is one of two Levels in Trap Team without any destructible Traptanium Crystals, the other is The Ultimate Weapon.
- The title of the chapter may be a reference to the rock band, Led Zeppelin.
