Perilous Pastures is the second chapter in the console version of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. Here, where the islands are filled with farm houses and sheep, the Skylanders must rescue Cali, a Mabu explorer held captive by the Drow.
Description
Perilous Pastures is a land of open fields and sunny blue sky. The level contains several stone Drow towers as well as signs of more rural life, such as haystacks and scarecrows. Despite their name, the islands themselves are serenely pastoral, dangerous only due to their hostile inhabitants.
Story
Arriving by balloon, the Skylanders are dropped off on one of the islands by Flynn, who chooses to scout from overhead while the Skylanders search for Cali on the ground. After battling through Chompies and Drow Spearmen, the Skylanders arrive at the Landing Deck, where Flynn informs them that Cali had been captured by the Drow. The Skylanders defeat the remaining Drow and enter a turret to destroy the locks on the gate trapping Cali, freeing her. Afterwards, Flynn swoops in to pick Cali and the Skylanders up, boasting while oblivious to the sheep hanging onto his balloon.

Perilous Pastures is one of the locations to which Skylanders can adventure. It is unlocked from the start of the game, and Adventures there take one minute and eight energy, rewarding twenty Hero Points and seventy-five Gold.

- In this level, there is a hidden area only accessible to a Life Skylander, but it is not marked with an Elemental Gate. There is no other instance like this at any other point in the entire series.
