Trivia

  • A Light elemental character resembling a Shadow Knight was planned to be a playable character during the production of Spyro's Kingdom.[1]
  • Shadow Knights have multiple idle stances before they start attacking.
  • The first Shadow Knight you encounter in Creepy Citadel can be hit with ranged attacks before his enemy introduction cutscene plays, but he can’t be defeated, as he is scripted to be invincible until after his cutscene is finished.
  • Strangely, Shadow Knights can walk on the whirlpools on the right of the main entrance to the Creepy Citadel and in the first room of the citadel without being defeated, even though they can’t fly and aren’t of the Water element.
  • Due to a glitch, for a couple seconds after they’re defeated, while their armor is crumbling, they can still be “hit” by attacks (damage numbers will still appear).
  • In the PlayStation 3 / Xbox 360 version of Spyro's Adventure, Shadow Knights only have one idle pose.
