Trivia

  • The Big Bad Woofer is a reference to the Big Bad Wolf, a character from a few fabled stories like Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Little Pigs.
  • All normal enemies possess antennae on their heads.
  • All of the NPCs in this level are renamed versions of classic Mabu such as Rizzo, Nort, Snuckles, and Blobbers, similar to the renamed Mabu in the Time of the Giants.
  • The Clock Rock's future half is based on his level, at a point the Big Bad Woofer was still active.
  • This and Lair of the Golden Queen are the only levels where all of their villains became Senseis in Skylanders: Imaginators.
  • This level heavily implies that in the Skylands' future, Skylanders will no longer exist, having been replaced by the Mabu Defense Force.
    • According to one Mabu, the Skylanders have a "retro look." However, this Mabu still recognizes the Skylanders as "some kind of hero," suggesting that some memory of the Skylanders still exists at this point in time.
  • There is some inconsistency with regards to the Big Bad Woofer's purpose; some NPCs state that it will exert Wolfgang's mind control over Skylands, while the holograms stationed throughout the level imply that the Big Bad Woofer will instead blow everything up.
  • When spoken to, Q.U.I.G.L.E.Y. says about Wolfgang, "he's not our emperor anymore—woo-hoo for that" even if the player has not yet completed the level and defeated Wolfgang.
  • The optional bridge puzzle section of this level employs a remix of Perilous Pastures's theme, similarly to Mystic Mill.
  • A voice similar to Pandergast's is heard throughout the level announcing Wolfgang's plan about the Big Bad Woofer (However this may be unintentional foreshadowing of his appearance).
