Catchphrases are a Skylander's signature battle cry when they are summoned through the Portal of Power. Every Skylander has a catchphrase, with the exception of the Guest Stars.

All Skylanders from Skylanders: Swap Force and Trap Team have a secondary battle cry when being summoned right after saying their catchphrase.

Trivia

  • In Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, the talking Core Skylanders say a variety of battle cries besides their catchphrase. From Giants and beyond, they, along with the gimmick Skylanders, began saying their catchphrases full-time when placed on the Portal.
  • In the Nintendo 3DS versions of Skylanders: Giants and beyond, the Skylanders only say their name in their Magic Moment when summoned and when switched in.
