Gobble Pods are non-hostile, endangered plant-creatures in Cascade Glade. They are always hungry, and hardly ever close their mouths in the hope of getting something yummy to eat.[1] According to Tessa, they only eat the bad guys, which includes Chompies and Greebles. However, this trait causes the Greebles to imprison the Gobble Pods until the Skylanders freed them. If a Gobble Pod can't reach an enemy with its long tongue, it will whip the enemies with its roots until it's close enough to eat.
When a Gobble Pod eats an enemy, they will spit out gold coins that the enemy had carried.
