Turrets are large guns that first appeared in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. The Skylanders used the turrets around Sky Schooner Docks to shoot down the Drow airships and later their elite airship. A turret is stationed in Leviathan Lagoon which the Skylanders used to fire at a fleeing pirateship.
In Skylanders: Giants, a turret are built onto Cap'n Flynn's Ship by Seraphina so the ship can have a means of defending itself. They returned in Skylanders: Swap Force but only served as a minigame.
