SWAP Force Zones are special areas in Skylanders: Swap Force with unique gameplay that can only be accessed by having a SWAP Force Skylander with the corresponding movement type. When completed for the first time in story mode, in addition to being rewarded a new hat and some treasure the minigame will be unlocked to be played at anytime from Woodburrow. These minigame will then have additional objectives that reward completion stars to upgrade the player's Portal Master Rank.

Types of SWAP Force zones

Rocket

Accessible to any Swap-combination with a Zone or Jet bottom half, these zones are represented by the Rocket symbol, located near a flight platform. The main objective is to fly through hoops to gain extra time and dodge obstacles, in an effort to reach the end before time runs out. The secondary objective is to collect all SWAP zone medals, and the tertiary objective is to get there without taking any damage.

Climb

Accessible to any Swap-combination with a Buckler or Rise bottom half, these zones are represented by the Climb symbol, located close to a scalable wall. The main objective is to climb to the top of the wall and avoid being hit by falling objects. The secondary objective is to collect all SWAP zone medals, and the tertiary objective is to get there without taking any damage.

Dig

Accessible to any Swap-combination with a Rouser or Drilla bottom half, these zones are identified by the Dig symbol. They are located near mining carts and equipment, as well as a sign with an arrow pointing downwards. The main objective is to dig inside an underground mine and look for three crystals that are buried before the time runs out. The secondary objective is to collect all SWAP zone medals, and the third objective is to complete the challenge within a certain time.

Bounce

Accessible to any Swap-combination with a Shake or Kraken bottom half, these zones are identified by the Bounce symbol, located between two giant bouncing springs. The main objective is to jump between several floating islands and be careful not to fall into the void, while trying to destroy three balloons with Kaos' face. The secondary objective is to collect all SWAP zone medals, and the tertiary objective is to jump on each of the islands at least once.

Sneak

Accessible to any Swap-combination with a Bomb or Shadow bottom half, these zones are identified by the Stealth symbol, located close to a fortress. The main objective is to pass through the fortress using stealth to avoid being seen by spotlights in order to press the fortress' self-destruct button. The secondary objective is to collect all SWAP Zone medals, and the tertiary objective is to remain completely undetected.

Speed

Accessible to any Swap-combination with a Charge or Blade bottom half, these zones are identified by the Speed symbol, located close to a ramp and a goal line. The objective is to run at a great speed through a large track full of obstacles, and reach the finish line before the time runs out. The secondary objective is to collect all SWAP Zone medals and the third objective is to finish within a certain time.

Spin

Accessible to any Swap-combination with a Ranger or Stone bottom half, these zones are identified by the Spin symbol, located close to two big spinning tops. The main goal is to spin like a spinning top, avoiding falling into the void while destroying certain obstacles, the last of which being a statue of Kaos. The secondary objective is to collect all SWAP zone medals, and the tertiary objective is to complete the challenge without having to use the super spin.

Teleport

Accessible to any Swap-combination with a Loop or Shift bottom half, these zones are identified by the Teleport symbol, located close to a portal. The main objective is to teleport between floating platforms to collect magic Runes, while being careful about hazardous platforms.
