Russel Purplestache is a Nightmare Brawl & Chain who is one of the trappable villains in the 3DS version of Skylanders: Trap Team.

Originally a captain in the Nightmare Navy, Russel left the service when he accidentally cut the pants off of an Admiral while trying to shake his hand.
Russel has a curious fascination with miniature ships in a bottle, especially pirate ships. To this day, he insists that as soon as he can, he's going to become a pirate and plunder every sea in Skylands.
Originally green at birth, Russel's mustache only turned purple after he became obsessed with blackberry pie. To this day, he refuses to eat anything else.
