Wait, Chicken? He's an eagle, because:
- He clearly looks like one.
- His name represents it.

reasons your argument is invalid:
- The producers have stated he's species as a "storm chicken"
- Also hes name is based on the category of "free range chickens"
Free Ranger is slightly related to Sonic Boom but if you dont think so i said slightly.
There is no "slightly" in families. Either someone is related to someone, or they aren't. Free Ranger is a storm chucken. Sonic Boom is a griffon, a cross between a lion and an eagle. There is no relation.
Although, judging by your edits you seem to think "related to" means "looks like". It is true that he slightly resembles Sonic Boom.
