New villain in next game?
Barrysun (talk) 01:22, January 9, 2015 (UTC) I do have to wonder, is there a chance Malefor is going to replace Kaos for the next Skylanders game? (after seeing Kaos has been captured and I wondered if there was going to be a replacement for him in the next game) this ought to be interesting, I have a feeling the new comics is going to be like a build up for the next villain.

Could this be the LoS Malefor?
Because of the similar appearance before his defeat at Hex's hand, and the words that Malefor have faces of against Spyro before, could indicate that this is the Legend of Spyro Malefor, who was not defeated at the end of Dawn of Dragons, but was instead banished to a different dimension like Skylands. - Not at all. Exact quote from the comic and series writer:
"While they obviously share many things and have lots in common, Skylanders Malefor is his own character, with his own motivations and desires that are separate from his LoS counterpart. This Malefor has suffered defeat at the hands of the Skylanders one too many times for his liking and he won't be happy until he's crowned above all of them."
