New villain in next game?

Barrysun (talk) 01:22, January 9, 2015 (UTC) I do have to wonder, is there a chance Malefor is going to replace Kaos for the next Skylanders game? (after seeing Kaos has been captured and I wondered if there was going to be a replacement for him in the next game) this ought to be interesting, I have a feeling the new comics is going to be like a build up for the next villain.

Could this be the LoS Malefor?

Because of the similar appearance before his defeat at Hex's hand, and the words that Malefor have faces of against Spyro before, could indicate that this is the Legend of Spyro Malefor, who was not defeated at the end of Dawn of Dragons, but was instead banished to a different dimension like Skylands. Not at all. Exact quote from the comic and series writer:

"While they obviously share many things and have lots in common, Skylanders Malefor is his own character, with his own motivations and desires that are separate from his LoS counterpart. This Malefor has suffered defeat at the hands of the Skylanders one too many times for his liking and he won't be happy until he's crowned above all of them." HauntedLorene (talk)

Malfor is the only two villians left for the skylanders series the other one is the nightmare king (Kill me (talk) 17:16, September 25, 2015 (UTC)

Skylanders Malefor is not the same Malefor from the LoS. As Haunted cited the quote, I'll leave the link to the Skylanders Malefor Q&A here for you to look at. Comic writer, David Rodriguez was kind enough to answer fan questions from the Skylanders Malefor DA group. which includes confirmation that Malefor is not the same Malefor from the LoS -

@Cutie - Uh... How about every recurring villain? The Trophies don't seem to be actually permanent,since it was never explained how they escaped in the first place; it's just racing game rules, they're still around. HauntedLorene (talk) 18:42, September 25, 2015 (UTC)

I consider that Noncannon like the 3DS even though they brought Count Moneybone in Superchargers. I Also hoping that Malfor and the Nightmare king will team up and destroy earth so the portal masters won't send in anymore skylanders.

Nightmare King probably died of old age by now. It's been a good few centuries and he's a normal human, also it's Malefor.--HauntedLoreMrene (talk) 23:07, September 25, 2015 (UTC)

Really Master is a hundred years old. so the nightmare king might exist only been hibernating for centuries.
