Elemental Gate
Elemental Gates are area obstacles in the Skylanders series. They act as entrances to secret areas, challenges and collectibles within each level. To open a gate, you must have a Skylander (or a Trap Master in Skylanders: Trap Team) of the same element as the gate, approach it and the gate of the respective element will disappear, allowing entry into the elemental zones.
Gates appear in each level in the game (except for The Oracle), sometimes hidden.
In Skylanders: SuperChargers , Elemental Gates lead to Vehicle Zones, and any Skylander can acess them as long as they have the right vehicles. These Gates contain timed challenges, and cannot be explored freely.
Trivia
- In Perilous Pastures, there is a place that can only be accessed by a Life Skylander, but there's no element marking the spot. No other level in any of the games has this feature.
