Villain Vault

Trolling Thunder is one of the trappable Tech villains in Skylanders: Trap Team. As Noodles was retreating to the Nightmare Express, Trolling Thunder appeared to delay the Skylanders from following him. Armed with a huge tank, it wasn't enough to stop him from having his means of attack destroyed and trapped.

Abilities

As a playable villain

Attack 1

Trolling Thunder fires an explosive round from the tank's cannon. The shot travels has a long range and arcs high, due to these, Trolling Thunder is able to hit enemies who are standing on high ground, or protected otherwise by a low barrier. Likewise, this makes it harder to hit enemies who are very close to Trolling Thunder, beneath the tank cannon's blind spot. This attack can be rapid-fired by repeatedly pressing the attack button.

Attack 2

Trolling thunder releases a large, high-damage explosion directly in front of it. The recoil from the Explosion will also knock Trolling Thunder back a good distance. This attack is useful for damaging enemies directly in front of Trolling Thunder (in the cannon's blind spot) and creating distance, allowing them to be hit with the tank's cannon.

As an enemy

During his boss battle, Trolling Thunder will constantly barrage the player with explosive projectiles. After firing projectiles for a while, Trolling Thunder will pause for a moment and give the player an opening to attack. Armor plating will fall off of the tank as Trolling Thunder takes damage, causing the tank to become progressively more bare as he's defeated.
