Dark is one of the two new elements that debuted in Skylanders: Trap Team. It was unleashed as a result of the immense explosion that destroyed Cloudcracker Prison.

The symble for the Dark element looks nearly identical to Princess Lunas cutie mark from "My Littile Pony: Friendship is magic. So far the skylanders of the Dark element have shown to have the same or simular abilities that Princess Luna has as well like the ability to enter dreams and control them.
