Bounce Pad

Bounce Pads are blue circular pads that let Skylanders jump to high areas. To allow for easier platforming, they tend to launch the Skylanders to the closest area of interest, such as a higher platform or over a fence, if the player doesn't deliberately move away from it. Sometimes, bounce pads are blocked with a Monster Gate, and will turn back into regular bounce pads once all of the enemies are defeated.

Super Bounce Pads appeared in Skylanders: Trap Team. These superpowered pink bounce pads allow Skylanders to jump across great distances.

Trivia

• In contrast with Teleporters, the pattern in the center shows a circle that repeatedly shrinks, and it points a greenish beam of light straight up.
• In the PlayStation 3 / Xbox 360 version of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, bounce pads come in two colors. Some are dark blue, while others are pale purple. The color varies according to level, with some areas possessing blue pounce pads and others providing purple pads.
• Skylanders with momentum-based abilities, such as Drobot's flight or Stealth Elf's acrobatics, can use these abilities in conjunction with bounce pads to cover more height and distance than is normally possible. In some cases, this effect is enough to let dashing Skylanders leap over monster gates or skip level barriers.
• Bounce Pads are also called "Jump Pads" in early versions of Skylanders: Giants.
• In the earliest alpha build of Giants, all of the game's pounce pads appear to lack their bouncy upper layer, revealing the pattern underneath.
