Hooto is a an evil, old Owl who appeared in the Skylanders Time Twisters Story Activity Book. He is the secondary antagonist in the story.

Personality

Hooto is a power-hungry, old owl who is willing to deceive his fellow villains at a chance at power. Unlike most evildoers, he doesn’t want to rule Skylands as it involved far too much paperwork. While controlling the Master Clock, he proclaims himself the "Master of Time" and was willing to reduce all of Skylands to dust unless they provide him their riches. Even as a baby, Hooto was mean-spirited.

Story

Hooto was approached by Kaos at his stall at the Evil Maniacs’ Bizarre Bazaar. Having been previously informed by minions of Kaos, the owl knew what the evil Portal Masters was looking for and gave him a golden clock hand. When Chill attempted to stop Kaos, he escaped along with Glumshanks and Hooto. With Kaos, Hooto was able to reach the location of Chronobones’ fortress since it can only be found by a Portal Master.

While working with Kaos at Chronobones' fortress, Hooto convinced the evil Portal Master that Glumshanks was to blame for all of Kaos’s failures and that the owl was the only sidekick Kaos needed. With Glumshanks imprisoned, Hooto then deceived Kaos by trapping him in a giant hourglass to drown him in sand before seizing control of the Master Clock, which the owl had planned from the start. The evil owl immediately declared himself the "Master of Time" and began tampering with time from the Master Clock to bring Skylands to its knees, demanding the inhabitants to hand over all their treasures to him or be reduced to dust.

Chill, Wash Buckler, Wind-Up and Hot Head rushed in to stop Hooto, who quickly summoned Geargolems to stop the Skylanders. During the fight, Hooto aged down Kaos into a teenager and Glumshanks into an old troll. However this allowed Chill to tamper with the Master Clock with her ice abilities and used a massive ice-block to deflect a time energy attack by Hooto back at him. Affected by his own time attack, the evil owl regressed back into an egg.

The spirit of Chronobones soon teleported the Skylanders and Hooto’s egg back to the Ruins, where the egg was discovered by Zoo Lou and eventually hatched into a baby Hooto. Zoo Lou intended to raise Hooto so he wouldn’t grow up into an evil power-crazed villain, but baby Hooto only bit Zoo Lou’s finger and flew away, having retained his mean-spirited nature.
