Nattybumpo was a Portal Master and the mentor of future Portal Master Eon.
In Eon's youth, he spent his days washing and polishing cooking pots and pans in Nattybumpo's kitchen. One day though, Eon accidentally started his master's own portal, and teleported Nattybumpo into the Dirt Sea.[1] Nattybumpo is not mentioned again for the rest of the series.
Trivia
- Nattybumpo was named after "Natty Bumppo", a hero in several James Fenimore Cooper novels, including The The Last of the Mohicans and The Deerslayer.[2]
- Though Nattybumpo would make no further appearances, in the Official Skylanders 2013 Annual, Eon briefly mentions that he was a large man with very red hair and an enormous beard and that he was trained as soon as he brought the former Portal Master back, possibly implying that Nattybumpo is long deceased.
