Pufferthorns are a race of cute, spiky creatures in the Skylanders franchise, the most notable one being Pop Thorn. Often considered one of the cutest creatures in all of Skylands, they are generally shy and only inflate their sharp spines when scared. They spend their days puffing around looking cute and adorable.[1]
However long ago, giant trolls had used Pufferthorns' sharp spines as combs to brush the tangles off their hair. One Pufferthorn, Pop Thorn, decided he had had enough of his kind being used as good grooming and fought back by manipulating his thorn abilities on the trolls, causing them to abandon brushing their hair for good.[2]
