Sniper is a modified Blaster Troll found in the game files of Skylanders: Giants. Its only methods of attack are firing his rifle and plant mines on the ground like D. Riveters.

Background

Sniper is a scrapped Troll Skylander found in the files of Skylanders: Giants.

He was found to possess three abilities. The first is him firing a gun (different from the gun found off his back) with red bullets. The second is an attack which involves placing down a claymore mine that explodes when enemies touch it. The third attack involves his character ducking down into the ground, a bush covering him. A red line used for sight appears coming out of the grass, and Sniper will be able to fire at any enemies that come into contact with this line.

Trivia

• When being summoned, his intro animation will not display his model but instead that of a red Spyro.
• The only possible way to play as Sniper is through file-swapping.
• During his third attack, there is a glitch that will allow him to leave the plants. He will no longer have the Sniper, and instead it will remain in the plants continuing to fire at enemies.
• Sniper's upgrade section includes two of Spyro's upgrades (Flameball and Charge) and the rest are placeholders.
