Storm Giants, also known as Storm Titans, are an air-elemental species that reside in the Cloud Kingdom.

Storm Giants are tall, humanlike creatures with clouds that replace their lower torsos.

Story

Storm Giants are the ancient athletic heroes of Skylands who like to be number one in every event. Aside from being able to bench-press 250 tons, few things are important to the storm giants than their grand competitive games.[1] Competitive by nature, Storm Giants are constantly trying to prove they're greater than each other.[2] The most famous Storm Giant is the Air Skylander, Lightning Rod.

In Skylanders: SuperChargers, the Storm Giants are a sophisticated, high-society race that rarely allow mortals into their royal city, referring to them as the "underclass". One Storm Giant claims that they invented Skystones Overdrive and indoor plumbing, though the latter isn't as publicized in the Skylands.

Notable Storm Giants

Trivia

  • All of the male Storm Giants in the Cloud Kingdom have blue hair, while the female Giants have brown hair. Oddly, Lightning Rod himself does not match this pattern.
  • One of the Storm Giants in the Cloud Kingdom's marketplace mentions Stratosfear's "cloud getting soggy" whenever he threw a tantrum, implying that Storm Giants' clouds change to reflect their mood.
  • Concept art of Storm Giants for SuperChargers depicts them in a variety of forms, including one notable male variation with pink skin, a prominent mustache, a peach-colored cloud, and golden goggles and hat.[3]
    • Pink-skinned Storm Giants appear in the Enemies section of the Clutch SuperChargers artbook, suggesting that some Storm Giants may originally have been planned as foes.[4]
