My Favorite Skylander
My favorite Skylander is Cynder the dragon. She is a beautiful violet dragon with silver claws, and six silver horns on her head. She wears a silver spiked cuff on each forearm, and a silver spiked necklace that almost seems like a manacle. It is supposed to represent her past enslavement by an evil dragon named Malefor.
While just an egg, she was stolen by Malefor's henchmen. She was then raised to do his bidding. His evil magic turned her into an adult black dragon with tattered reddish wings and a knack for killing things. Some called her "Malefor's Monster." She spread fear throughout the land. Cynder was born into the same clutch of eggs that Spyro was, making her the same age as him.
After being defeated by the young Spyro, Malefor's grip of dark magic was released from Cynder, and she returned to her normal age. Spyro was surprised by her beauty after being transformed from "Malefor's Monster" into what she is now. A bond soon formed between the two young dragons, and later in the series, a love connection.
Dark energy still flows through Cynder, but she became a Skylander to use her powers for good and make amends for her past.
