Major details about me

  • I'm autistic, as I was born with Asperger's syndrome.
    • Because of this, my voice is somewhat deep and monotonous, giving the impression (to those who aren't familiar with how I talk), that I'm agitated, in a bad mood, etc.
  • I wear my heart on my sleeve, so it's very easy to hurt my feelings.
  • Growing up autistic and not knowing what it was until after I graduated high school, I was isolated and constantly bullied.
    • One time I was bullied to my breaking point and decided to try and take the coward's way out (suicide).
  • I take all mistakes and failures (even minor ones) very seriously.
  • I may be an adult, but I'm still a kid at heart, and I don't tolerate bullying or rudeness (especially directed at me).
  • Because I was bullied in my youth, I have very little to almost no self-confidence/self-esteem.
  • In addition to Asperger's I was also born with ADHD.
    • Because of this and my autism, I've been fired from two jobs already (when comes to jobs, I can only work part-time, and only through the help of "vocational rehab", as my mom fought for 4 years to get me SSI benefits, primarily to get me medicaid to help pay for my dr.'s appointments as well as my medication. If I work full-time, or accumulate $2,000+ in my bank account, they'll cut it immediately):
      1. My true first job was really "job training" at Goodwill to get my feet wet for the working world. And I did great.
      2. My first "real" job was as an usher at Carmike Cinema (a movie theater), but they had never worked with the autistic before and didn't understand certain things when working with me: because of ADHD, I'm constantly fully of energy and have to be moving to feel like I'm making progress of any kind, plus I take certain medications to help keep me tame, so to speak. But on my "last day" (I didn't know it would be at the time) I had to use the bathroom while my co-workers cleaned out a theater lobby (as my medications sometimes rile up my stomach), and by the time I was done, they finished cleaning the theater. My supervisor told me that I couldn't do what I did, and sent me home early. With all the big movies coming out I felt I would get more work, but never got called in. I don't remember how long I worked there, but it was a couple years ago, and I only went in on Saturdays & Sundays. Took 'em almost six months just to tell me & my family "he's fired", as they did it behind my back.
      3. My second job was as an employee at Wild Wing Cafe. I was doing good at first, but too much downtime had me bored (as the job I did most was folding napkins to wrap silverware in), and I didn't make a good impression on the CEO (she was a regular helper, and dressed just as casually as everyone else, so I couldn't tell the difference). Two months later, the CEO decided to fire me when my boss was having surgery (he liked me and tried to defend me so I could stay). When I went in to get my final paycheck, I asked her upfront if I was fired (for confirmation), and she replied I was. When I remarked on how uncool it was, she simply handed me my check and said "have a good rest of the day".
  • I'm currently 23 years old.

Story from YugiohFreak54 from FanFiction.net:

Jesus had no servants, yet they called him Master...
He had no degree, yet they called him Teacher...
He had no medicine, yet they called him Healer...
He had no army, yet kings feared him...
He won no military battles, yet he conquered the World...
He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him...
He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today

A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She was not afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away.
As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he was waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely.
The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the police officer asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you are never alone.
Did you know that 98 of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 of the people that read this won't re-post it? Re-post this if you truly believe in God.
