The Vault of the Ancients is a mystical stronghold in which the Ancients locked away artifacts they deemed too dangerous. The Sky Eater's damage to Skylands has damaged the Vault's defenses, unleashing powerful arcane creatures that were never meant to be released into the world. The Watch Wraiths, creations of the Ancients, reside within and around the Vault, testing the worth of those who wish to enter with the power of Push and Pull.
In Skylanders: SuperChargers, the Skylanders brave the Vault of the Ancients to retrieve the Dark Rift Engine, which is critical to stopping The Darkness, with the help of the last active Wraith, Pluck.
