Teleporters are shiny metal pads with an orange, rarely blue center that teleport characters to other areas in the Skylanders franchise in a flash of light. Though usually they are the only means of getting around to the player's destination, sometimes they are hidden and allow access to secret areas. In Battle Arenas, they allow faster movement around the battlefield.
In Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure and Giants, teleporters strike the Skylander with lightning and produce a loud metallic noise when activated. They would later become quieter and feature a more subtle animation.

Trivia
- The largest teleporter seen in the games is in one of The Oracle's challenges. As seen with its exaggerated model, the sides of the pad have inscriptions on them.
- In contrast with Bounce Pads, teleporters' orange centers twists their curved spokes, and a spiral light beam with sparkles comes out of the top.
