Turrets are large guns that first appeared in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. Characters, such as the Skylanders use them to take them aerial enemies.

The first turret appeared in Perilous Pastures where the Skylanders used it to destroy the locks on a gate to free Cali. They also used the turrets around Sky Schooner Docks to shoot down the Drow airships and later their elite airship. A turret is stationed in Leviathan Lagoon which the Skylanders used to fire at a fleeing pirate ship.

Skylanders can shoot different types of turret bullets depending on the elements.

  • Earth Skylanders shoot chunks of rock.
  • Magic Skylanders shoot sparkles of purple light.
  • Undead Skylanders shoot ghostly green spirits.
  • Water Skylanders shoot water bullets.
  • Fire Skylanders shoot fireballs.
  • Life Skylanders shoot watermelons.
  • Air Skylanders shoot blasts of air.
  • Tech Skylanders shoot gears.

Skylanders: Universe

Much like Spyro's Adventure, turrets can be used to take down invading Sky Pirates in Sky Defense.

Skylanders: Giants

A turret is built onto The Dread-Yacht by Seraphina so the ship can have a means of defending itself, and a few levels have turret sections for other purposes.

Skylanders: Swap Force

One of the turrets is stationed on Sharpfin's ship and later others are used in minigames.

Skylanders: Trap Team
